Ronald L. Herzog, age 70, of Valders passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the Sharon Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls surrounded by his loving family.
Ron was born on April 7, 1953, in Oconto, son of the late Clarence and Audrey (Depner) Herzog. He graduated from Coleman High School and received a bachelor’s degree from UW Platteville. On May 26, 1979, Ron was married to Sharon M. Van Frachen in Two Rivers. Ron always worked in the agricultural field as a farm consultant and tax preparer. He owned and operated Wisconsin Farm and Business Management Inc., retiring in 2021. Ron enjoyed all of God’s great nature and especially enjoyed fishing and camping.
Survivors include his wife: Sharon Herzog, Valders; one son: Jason Herzog, Grand Chute; one daughter: Lisa Herzog, Valders; one granddaughter: Faith Herzog, one grandson: Taylor Pfister; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Wayne Herzog, and Scott (Susan) Herzog; one sister and brother-in-law: Anita (Larry) Rowe; four sisters-in-law: Jacquline Barrett, Pauline Rodela, Patricia Van Frachen, and Lois Van Frachen; one uncle: Aldie Depner, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Audrey Herzog; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Albert and Margaret Van Frachen; one brother: Allen Herzog; one sister and brother-in-law: Linda (Mike) Wilson; one sister-in-law and four brothers-in-law: Ernest Van Frachen, Gary Van Frachen, James Barrett, and Hector Rodela; and one niece: Tanya Wilson.
Ron’s final wishes were to be cremated with no funeral services.
