Ronald Raboine, age 65, of Manitowoc, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at home surrounded by his family.
Ron was born June 15, 1960 in Burlington, Wisconsin, son of John and Julie (Richter) Raboine. He graduated from UW-Plateville as a Civil Engineer. He held a variety of jobs before moving to Green Bay to work for Northeast Asphalt. While in Green Bay, he met and married Amy (LeBoeuf) Raboine on April 28, 1989, and discovered what truly meant to be a Green Bay Packer fan. When Ron was hired by Gulseth Construction, the family moved to Manitowoc where the children grew. He spent the last 19 years working for Vinton Construction Company until his retirement. Ron became involved in their sports and community especially during baseball season at Branch. He coached and/or helped with umping during tournament time.
While growing up he learned to fish and hunt with his dad, John. A skill he tried passing down to his kids. Ron and his family continued to love fishing and camping throughout the years, especially with the grandkids. There are several stories about the one that got away. They also enjoyed attending Packer home games and through trial and error became pretty efficient with pre-game tailgating. As Ron got closer to retirement, he and Amy planned many more fishing days and kayaking at their cottage in Wautoma.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Amy; his children: Andrew (Miranda Plautz) Raboine, Cassandra (Justin Ladwig) Raboine, Erik Raboine; grandchildren: Anya Carter and Henry Raboine. He is further survived by his parents: John and Julie Raboine; his siblings: Rich (Kathy) Raboine, Maureen (Dick) Henney, Linda (Tim) Kempken; brother and sister-in-law: Dave and MaryAnn LeBoeuf, Julie and Jeff Sobel, Anjali LeBoeuf, and Peter LeBoeuf; many nieces, nephews; and his little sidekick: Harpo. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Tarin Carlson; a dear friend: Deb Gorman; father and mother-in-law: Eugene & Leona LeBoeuf; grandparents: Royal and Mary Raboine, Robert and Ann Richter.
