Sally A. (Mott) Turczynski

Sally A. (Mott) Turczynski died at the age of 90 on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice facility in Sheboygan Falls.

She was born July 28, 1934, in Manitowoc, WI to the late Harry and Elda (Pingle) Mott. She attended country schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, WI with the class of 1952. She married Roy James Turczynski on November 14, 1953. They had seven children. Roy preceded her in death on April 13, 2011.

At one time Sally played Dartball for The Capital Bar and also bowled for Hals Red Owl store in the women’s bowling league from 1972-1975 in Manitowoc. After she retired, her and Roy would go to shoot pool at various places.

Survivors include their children: Terry Turczynski, Two Rivers, Karin and (Ron) Stinson, Carlisle, PA, Christi (John) McCoy, Tucson, AZ, Joy Turczynski-Blaha, Two Rivers, Todd (Shawn) Turczynski, St. Louis, MO, Scott (Bonnie) Turczynski, Manitowoc; five grandchildren: Alex Turczynski, MO, Nick Bequette, MO, Tyler Stinson, Carlisle, PA, Shaelynn (Garrison) Haning, Tulsa, OK, Liana (Nick) Peters, PA, Alisha (Casey) Junk, Manitowoc, Daniel (Jessica) Turczynski, Green Bay; seven great-grandchildren: Leah Junk, Waylon Junk, Olivia Turczynski, Tatum Turczynski, Seneca Haning, Annamarie Peters, and Lillian Jean Peters; one brother and sister-in-law: Lyle (Joan) Mott, Chilton. In addition to her parents and husband, Sally was preceded in death by her son: Carey Jon; son-in-law: James R. Blaha.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th St., Manitowoc. Deacon Al Boeldt will officiate. The burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until the time of services at 5:00 pm.
