Sharon Margaret (Van Franchen) Herzog

Sharon Margaret Herzog, 82, of Valders passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Sharon was born on February 22, 1943 in Green Bay to Albert and Margaret (Baumgart) Van Franchen. She was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers. On May 26, 1979 she married Ronald Herzog. He preceded her in death on December 18, 2023. Sharon was a dedicated wife and mother and also worked at Mirro Aluminum for several years. Sharon enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family.

Sharon is survived by her children: Jason Herzog, and Lisa Herzog; grandchildren: Faith Herzog, and Taylor Pfister; sisters: Jacqueline Barrett, and Pauline Rodela; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Patricia Van Franchen, Lois Van Franchen, Wayne Herzog, Anita (Larry) Rowe, and Scott (Susan) Herzog.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Margaret Van Franchen; husband: Ronald Herzog; brothers: Ernst Van Franchen, and Gary Van Franchen; parents-in-law: Clarence and Audrey Herzog; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: James Barrett, Hector Rodela, Allen Herzog, Linda (Mike) Wilson, and Karen Herzog.
