Sharon E. Owens

Sharon E. Owens, age 68, of Two Rivers, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

Sharon was born on December 31, 1957, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Edward and Sally Ann (Parworth) McGlin. She attended schools in Two Rivers graduating from Washington High School. She then attended Silver Lake College where she acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in education. Sharon married Floyd Owens Sr. in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 24, 2016. Sharon taught Sunday school at the Salvation Army and enjoyed gardening and being with her kids and grandkids. She was a teacher for grades 6 and 7 at the Reedsville Catholic School, Juvenile Center, and various other schools within the community. She was a customer service manager for 35 years at the Manitowoc Walmart until her retirement.

She is survived by her eight children: Zeola Owens (Ryan Scherer), Manitowoc, Floyd Owens Jr. (Pang Tang Lee), Appleton, Raneatha (Justen) Carter, Manitowoc, Mystalynn (Lorenzo) Christian, Manitowoc, Aundre (Cyrena) Owens, Two Rivers, LaTeecia (Damian) Groothoff, Two Rivers, Narissa Owens, Manitowoc, Cedric Owens and his fiancée Meghan Lederhaus, New London; sixteen grandchildren: Shai (LaNitra Hayes), Tyrus, Quintella, Caliana, Carielle, Ryan II, Sa’Qouiah, Trae’Andric, Jai’Alouis, Trae’Zo, Sa’Raelynn, Alicia, Jasmine, Keiana, Tashon, MaLeah; great-grandchildren: Kairo, Carmelo, Cortnee, Cortez; significant other: Karl Johnson; one sister: Peggy (Joe) Reindl, Two Rivers; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Sally McGlin; husband: Floyd Owens Sr.; and grandson: Jaisiah Owens.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc.  Private entombment will take place on Friday at Knollwood Mausoleum.
