Shelly L. Diefenthaler

Shelly L. Diefenthaler, age 53, of Two Rivers, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.

Shelly was born on August 22, 1972 in Manitowoc, daughter of Janet (Raymakers) Vander Bloomen and the late Robert Vander Bloomen. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1990 from Lincoln High School. She then attended LTC where she acquired an associates degree in 2017. On September 16, 2005 she married Paul Diefenthaler in Manitowoc. She was employed as the deputy treasurer for Manitowoc County until her death. She was a member of Paws 4 Laws. She enjoyed watching her family race and going on trips with the girls.

She is survived by her husband: Paul Diefenthaler, Two Rivers; daughter: Brooke Diefenthaler, Two Rivers; mother: Janet Vander Bloomen, Manitowoc; two sisters and two brothers: Cheryl (Brian) Nack, Manitowoc, Rick (Kelly) Vander Bloomen, AZ, Paul (Stacey) Vander Bloomen, Manitowoc, Lisa Vander Bloomen, Manitowoc; mother-in-law: Bonnie Diefenthaler, Manitowoc; and two sisters-in-law: Sonja (Scott) Hansen, Manitowoc, and Becky Beatty, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her father; Robert Vander Bloomen; and one sister: Laura Contreras.
