Sherri A. Meister

Sherri A. Meister, 65, of Manitowoc passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Froedtert Holy Family Hospital.

Sherri was born on June 9, 1960 in Manitowoc, daughter of Gerald Meister and the late Darlene “Dolly” (Roth) Meister. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1978 from Roncalli High School. She furthered her education at UW Madison, where she received her bachelor's degree as a registered nurse in 1983.

Sherri enjoyed collecting angel figurines, listening to many different types of music and her favorite colors were pink, teal and red, the color of Christmas. Sherri was loved by many and has now earned her angel wings.

Sherri is survived by her dad: Gerald Meister, Manitowoc; special friend and caregiver: Rodney Hawley, Manitowoc; two brothers: Steven (Patti) Meister, Green Bay, and David Meister, Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives also survive. Sherri was preceded in death by her mom: Darlene “Dolly” Meister; and sister-in-law: Debra Meister. 

A funeral service to celebrate Sherri’s life will held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 11:00 am at Calvary Mausoleum chapel, 2601 S 14th St., Manitowoc. Rev. Arogya Prashanth Gade will officiate. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at the mausoleum chapel from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow.
