Sherry A. Wanner, 48 of the town of Greenbush passed away with her daughter, DeeAnna Finn, on Thursday, September 30, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Sherry was born on October 9, 1972 in Waukesha a daughter of Douglas L. and Christine (Kudick) Finn. She attended South High School in Sheboygan. She was united in marriage to Justin Wanner. Sherry was kind hearted and had a great respect for life. She loved animals and took care of many rescue dogs.
Sherry was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake.
Sherry is survived by her mother, Christine Moehrke; a son Jonathan Holden; a granddaughter, McKenzie Finn; a half brother, Doug Finn; a half sister, Maggie Finn Weiss and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, stepfather, Dan Moehrke, cousin Christina Wollenzien and other family members.
A joint memorial service for Sherry and her daughter will be held 12 Noon, Friday, October 8, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake with Pastor Peter Peitsch officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Greenbush Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the church, 210 Lincoln St., Elkhart Lake on Friday from 10 am until the time of service at Noon.
A memorial fund has been established for the education of her granddaughter, McKenzie.
