Stanley Bajdan Obituary

Stanley Bajdan, 78, passed away on June 7, 2026, in Manitowoc, WI.

Stanley was born in 1947 in Powidance, Lithuania, son of the late Melania (Pawlowska) Bajdan and the late Walter Bajdan.

Stanley arrived in the United States in 1963 with his parents and four brothers. He attended Washington High School, Two Rivers

After years of hard work in road construction and masonry, he eventually purchased and for many years operated The Club Bil-Mar in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, with his wife, Mary.

Upon selling the restaurant, Stanley continued his business pursuits with Faraway Land Elk Ranch in Wild Rose, WI.

An avid hunter and fisherman, he spent countless hours outdoors hunting and fishing. His adventures often landed him in local newspapers, where readers could see Stanley proudly posing with a trophy buck or record catch.

Stanley also had a special talent for celebrating his birthday. Most people settle for one day; Stanley believed his birthday deserved a full month. Friends and family knew that gifts, cards, and good wishes were gladly accepted long before and long after the actual date.

He is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Mary; his children, Tammy (Michael) Lemberger, Angela (Paul) Kharouf, Guy (Dawn) LeClair, Tara (Jerry) Englebert, Sally (Jason) Skrepenski, and Stash Bajdan; and his brothers, Frank Bajdan and Felix Bajdan. He also leaves behind sisters and brothers-in-law, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Bajdan; his mother, Melania Bajdan; his mother-in-law, Helen Rezachek; his father-in-law, Adolf Rezachek; his brothers, Henry Bajdan and John Bajdan; his stepson, Roy LeClair; brothers-in-law John Rezachek, Roger Rezachek; and sisters-in-law, Susan Bajdan, Sharon Bajdan, and Janice Rezachek, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.
