Steven Klein Obituary

Steven P. "Bear" Klein, age 68 of Francis Creek passed away Sunday, November 24,2024 at Aurora St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee

Steve was born March 4, 1956 in Two Rivers, son of the late Roger and Charlotte (Meyer) Klein.  He was a graduate of Washington High School, class of 1974.  Steve served his country in the U.S. Army.  He served in Germany as a Crew Chief on a CH47 Chinook Helicopter and traveled to 14 countries.

Steve worked at Eis structure movers and moved many historical buildings from all over, some are at Pinecrest Historical Village Manitowoc and many at Heritage Hill Historical Park, Green Bay.  He then worked at Invincible Office Furniture, Manitowoc as a CNC operator.

Steve enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He also enjoyed downhill skiing, some of which he did all over Germany.  Steve enjoyed Mule Deer hunting in Wyoming and also Up North in the Tipler area. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, but his favorite was the Pittsburgh Steelers because they were always on while he was in Germany.  Steve also enjoyed vacations with his wife Cindy and friends Mike and Sue Holzer.

Survivors include his wife: Cindy Klein; his children:  Cassandra (Kevin) Krajnik, Tyler Duke Klein; grandchildren:  Owen, Olivia, Theodore and Lincoln Krajnik; brothers, sisters and in-laws, Karen (John) Oskey, John (Linda) Klein, Sue Klein, Dick (Lisa) Klein, Mark (Mary Ann) Geiger, Dan (Patsy) Geiger, Lynn (Tom) Cisler; as well as many nieces and nephews and his many friends whom he loved dearly.  Steve was preceded in death by his parents Roger & Charlotte Klein, brother and sister-in-law Micheal & Terese Klein and his Grand dog “BEAR”.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Manitowoc Elks Lodge #687 from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m.
