Susan Smogoleski Obituary

Susan Ellen Smogoleski, age 79, of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on May 31, 1946, in Two Rivers, Susan was the daughter of Lorton and Mary Ellen Paul. She graduated from Washington High School in 1964 and went on to dedicate many years of service to Aurora Medical Center, where she worked as a Payroll Specialist until her retirement.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Susan found her greatest joy in time spent with her family. She was a constant presence at her children’s sporting events and cherished volunteering in her grandchildren’s classrooms, dedicating as much time as possible to bonding with them. Susie also enjoyed trips up north, cheering on her beloved Two Rivers Raiders, crafting, and completing puzzles with her special friend, Donna.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Lorton and Mary Ellen Paul; her sisters, Linda Grimm and Diana Paul; and her brother, Peter Paul.

She is survived by her brother, Mike (Lovey) Paul; her children, Chad (Corinne) Smogoleski, Jim Smogoleski, Brian (Staci) Smogoleski, and Kevin (Joanna) Smogoleski; her grandchildren, Skylar (Casey), Emily (Taylor), Noah, Cody, Grace, Alexus, Asher, Blake, and Jocelyn; her great-grandchildren, Ellie and Baylor.

A private service for immediate family will be held at a later date.
