Suzanne Jo (Helpap) Ledbury, 62, of Bloom City, WI formerly of Plymouth passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer with her family by her side.
Suzanne was born on October 21, 1961 to JoAnn Helpap and the late George Helpap Sr. at Watertown Memorial Hospital in Watertown, WI. Suzanne was a 1980 graduate of Plymouth High School. She was a stay ay home mom for many years. She moved to southwestern WI in 1991 and remained there until the end.
Suzanne met Curt Ledbury, her husband in 1994 and was married on August 3, 2001. She enjoyed going to auctions, cooking, and collecting salt and pepper shakers. She loved taking care of others, going places, and loved her dogs, Ava and Bo. ‘
Suzanne is survived by her husband; Curt Ledbury; seven children: Sherry Meyer, Boscobel, Michael Meyer, Avoca, Shelly Meyer, Muscoda, Mark Wirtz, LaCrosse, Sheila (Mark) Bowell, Blue River, Sarah Ledbury, Blue River, and Jeremy Ledbury, Highland; 21 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mom: JoAnn Helpap; brother: George (Christine) Helpap, Jr; and sisters: Vicki Helpap, and Sara (John) Jago. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and two faithful companions: Ava and Bo. Suzanne was preceded in death by her dad: George Helpap, Sr.
A memorial service to celebrate Suzanne’s life will be held on Saturday. November 25, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Wittkopp Funeral Home, 123 South Street, with Dale Miller officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday. November 25, 2023 at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm. Burial of cremains will be at Greenbush Cemetery.
