Therese J. Noskowiak, age 93, of Manitowoc passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at St. Mary’s Home, Manitowoc.

Therese was born July 19, 1932 in Phlox, daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Berendsen) Verhasselt.  On September 8, 1956 she was united in marriage to Gerald Noskowiak at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Phlox.  He preceded her in death on January 3, 2016.

Therese was a proud homemaker her entire life and enjoyed cooking for her family. Family meant everything to her, and she looked forward to the many times they would spend together.  The holidays were especially meaningful to Therese, when she hosted her family for gatherings at Christmas and Thanksgiving. She also supported her husband, Jerry, as she helped out at Greenwoods on the Lake for many years.

Therese was a former President of the Christian Women, and she was involved in the Holy Innocents Home and School Association, as well as Parish Council.  She was involved with the Holy Innocents Parish Picnic for many years.  Therese, along with her husband Jerry, were instrumental in the establishment of the Roncalli High School Auction. They went on to co-chair the first four years of the event.

Therese enjoyed gardening, sewing, and traveling.  Her husband, Jerry won several sales trips while at Greenwoods, and together they traveled many places.  She looked forward to attending her children's and grandchildren's athletic events.  Therese and Jerry were avid Packer fans and enjoyed season tickets for many years. She cherished family time at their cabin on Enterprise Lake, Elcho, WI.

Survivors include 6 children: Daughter's: Geralyn (David) Hartman, Janice (Frank) Falzon; son's: Donald (Dolly) Noskowiak, Keith (Amy) Noskowiak, Kevin (Julie) Noskowiak and Gerald Jr. (fiance-Lea) Noskowiak; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, and 4 more great grandchildren arriving in 2026; sister: Verene Ferrona; sister-in-law: Bernice Verhasselt; brothers: Gerald Verhasselt, and Robert (Magdalena) Verhasselt.
