Thomas G. Preston

Thomas G. Preston, age 59, of Manitowoc passed away Sunday June 12, 2022, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay.

Tom was born on May 11, 1963, in Manitowoc, son of the late Charles and Elmira (Behnke) Preston. He grew up in Whitelaw and attended St. Michaels grade school and Valders High School. Tom worked in manufacturing jobs most of his life in the Manitowoc area. On May 22, 1993, Tom married the former Susan M. Goessl at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting in the past.

Survivors include his wife: Susan Preston, Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law: Chris (Renee) Winkel, Manitowoc and their daughter Elianna Winkel; one daughter: Alexis Preston, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law: Mark (Laura) Preston, Manitowoc; his mother-in-law: Lorraine Goessl, Manitowoc; three sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law: Mary (Joe) Kiel, Manitowoc, Patti (Keith) Waack, Two Rivers, Joel Goessl, Manitowoc, Lynn (Greg) Franz, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Elmira Preston; one infant son: Hunter Preston; three brothers: Jerry Preston, Dale Preston, and Kevin Preston; one nephew: Justin Preston; his father-in-law: Walter Goessl.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S.14th St, Manitowoc. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with burial at the Knollwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM.
