Wendy Pfeifer Obituary

Wendy Sue Pfeifer, 59, Plymouth passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at her home.

Wendy was born on June 24, 1965 in Sheboygan to John and Myra (Wentz) Pfeifer. She was a 1983 graduate of Elkhart Lake – Glenbeulah High School. She furthered her education earning a marketing degree from LTC in 1987 and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Silver Lake College in 1996. Wendy utilized her business degree for 15 years, working in customer service and inside sales at various places including: Main Tape, BPB Celotex, Vollrath and MAP Giddings and Lewis. She then followed her passion of caregiving. Wendy was a caregiver since 2012 for Embrace Care Management, where she assisted people with Diabetes, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Parkinson’s disease. Her passionate care allowed these individuals to stay in their own homes.

Wendy was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah, where she was baptized, confirmed and enjoyed volunteering.  Wendy enjoyed landscaping, had a knack for decorating, particularly around the holidays, listening to music, especially 80’s rock, and loved playing name that tune. She had a love for dogs, most fond of their families black poodles.  Wendy always had a smile on her face and a laugh that was contagious. Her passion for helping others was displayed in every aspect of her life. She looked forward to taking her mom out on Saturday’s for a trip to the beauty parlor, shopping and lunch, baking and sharing her treats with her clients under her care, and spending time with her girls group for over 25 years. Wendy lived by example, faith, family and friends. “Life is too short, share a smile with someone”

Wendy is survived by her sister and two brothers: Barbara Pfeifer, West Bend, Keith Pfeifer, Glenbeulah, and Karl Pfeifer, Glenbeulah; nieces and nephews: Amanda (Mike) Flaminio, Adam (Taylor) Bocek, and Alex Falk; one great-niece: baby girl Bocek on the way, which she was so excited about; and aunts and uncles: Dorothy Arthur (Godmother), Vyra Thiel, Judy (Alton) Pfeifer, Clinton (Reda) Wentz, David Pfeifer, Carol Wordell, and Virginia Pfeifer (Godmother).  She is further survived by cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
