Winifred M (Allie) LeClair

Winifred M. LeClair, age 96, lifelong resident of Two Rivers, died peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Azura Memory Care, Manitowoc, WI. 

Winifred was born in Two Rivers on March 19, 1926 to Albert and Elmere (Arpin) Allie.

On January 17, 1948 she married Bernard P. LeClair in Two Rivers.  Bernard preceded her in death on April 6, 2002 and most recently two of her sons; Steven LeClair (February 9, 2020) (surviving wife, Marilyn) and Stanley LeClair (January 11, 2021). 

Winifred is survived by her son Kevin LeClair of Two Rivers and his son Nicolas LeClair of California, MD; as well as three daughters:  Gail LeClair (Burton) and Michael of Los Angeles, CA; Laura LeClair (Conklin) and Kevin of Meriden, CT; Faye LeClair-French and Rich of Slidell, LA; Pam Garzone and her daughter Chantelle (Garzone) Ankerman and Justin; of Windsor, CT; and her son Francesco (Garzone) and his wife Jennifer of Watertown, CT.

Over the years, Winifred worked briefly for the FBI in Washington DC, returning home to work at Schroeder’s Department Store, and later Cool City Cleaners and St. Vincent’s Thrift Store. Winnie loved her fulltime role of raising her family and now will be sincerely missed by all who knew her. 

The family of Winnie LeClair wishes to express their sincere thanks to the Azura Memory Care staff for their constant care. 

Visitation and a funeral service will be held on May 20th at Knollwood Chapel Manitowoc, 1500 WI-310, Manitowoc, WI 54220. The family will greet relatives and friends at 10:30 AM before the service.
